Ike Nichols is a film composer and music producer known for pulling the truth out of artists and turning ideas into records that resonate. Blending the worlds of film scoring and contemporary music at a high level, he creates work that feels cinematic, emotionally grounded, and culturally connected.
From the haunting soundscapes of his feature film An Electric Sleep to the soulful textures of his EP Miracle Mile and the collaborative energy of his single PARIS, Ike’s work is defined by depth, versatility, and intention.
Hailing from Chicago, his musical journey began at age three—long before formal training—when he was already creating rhythms and exploring sound. He later studied music composition while developing as a bassist and music director, building a foundation that would allow him to move seamlessly across genres and creative environments.
At just 23, Ike stepped into the professional world designing live shows for global artists including Cardi B, G-Eazy, J Balvin, and Justin Bieber. Alongside his work in live production, he continued to build a reputation as a producer capable of taking a song from its earliest idea to a fully realized record—without losing its core meaning.
His career expanded into major collaborations, including partnering with The Walt Disney Company on the landmark live show Radio Disney Revolution. He also worked with the National Football League, creating the official theme song for Female Flag Football, We Run This House—a project that reflects both cultural impact and forward momentum in the sport.
Ike has composed music for award-winning films, including A Killer Service, and has produced over a thousand songs across genres. Whether scoring a film or building a record in the studio, his focus remains the same: helping artists and creators discover who they really are—and translating that into music that cuts through.
Now based between Chicago and Los Angeles, Ike continues to push his craft forward while curating creative spaces like BLANC SESSIONS—where authenticity, collaboration, and honest artistry take center stage.
